I have no idea how to solve this, but I'll throw it out there anyway: How do we deal with "Category" spoilers? For instance, if Nynaeve is categorized as Yellow Ajah, it spoilers that fact, in addition to the fact that she stayed at her training long enough to get there (something not at ALL obvious before book 6 or 7). Is there anything we can do?
Alviarin would be another good example; we don't actually find out she's Black until much later in the series, do we? I suppose in that case (and under Darkfriends), we can put a spoiler warning on the category page itself... nae'blis (talk) 14:09, 29 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- /me puts on really dumb face for forgeting Nynaeve was Yellow (but she DOES talk about men too much...) On the Category Index, I noted last night that we should try to list categories in chronological order. They of course will always appear at the bottom of the page, below any spoiler tags. But anyone browsing through the categories should be prepared to be a bit spoilered; they really have no business reading through anything but Chapter summaries if they haven't finished a supermajority of the books. Darkfriends and Black Ajah categories could probably use a general spoiler tag and a bit of whitespace beneath it. --Gherald 19:43, 29 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Actually, that would work great if all skins put cats at the bottom... but as far as I can tell, only Monobooks and my Skin do (and MySkin is hideous, at least on my screen; I think that's for people who want to build their own from scratch). I'll see if I can get the Cologne Blue and the rest to put them on the bottom, at least by default... we can't do much about people who build their own CSS files, they'll just have to accept the risk. nae'blis (talk) 00:49, 30 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Since Knife of Dreams has been out for over a year, would it be fair to remove spoiler warnings? I think it's a bit silly to use spoiler tags at this point in the game, but I am a new contributor to the wiki, so I would just like to know if you've changed your stance... as the last comments on this page were from over a year ago.
